Fixes for the most common problems.
“I can’t manage that role / member”
Apera’s role is below the role or member. Move Apera’s role higher in Server Settings → Roles. Run /health to see what’s blocked.
Commands don’t show up
Restart Discord (Ctrl+R). Check the member has permission for the command (most admin commands need Administrator or Manage Server) and that the command isn’t turned off on the Admin commands page.
Logs are empty or say “Hidden”
Set a log channel on the Logging page and make sure Apera can see and write in it. “Hidden — give Apera View Audit Log” means that permission is missing.
Members don’t get DMs
Discord only delivers DMs if the member shares a server with Apera and allows DMs from server members. Apera still acts; the DM just can’t be delivered.
